How We Work

Not transactions.
Partnerships.

Our Clients

I work with a select number of clients each year—purpose-driven individuals, organizations, and brands who understand that communication carries responsibility.

You might be a good fit if:

  • You're a founder, executive, or leader who knows your voice matters but aren't sure how to clarify it
  • You run a hospitality brand that wants every guest touchpoint to tell your story
  • You lead a non-profit handling sensitive narratives and need storytelling that honors dignity
  • You're an organization ready to align your internal communication with your external voice

If that sounds like you—let's talk.

What Working With Tama PR Feels Like

This isn't transactional PR. There are no templates, no rushed campaigns, no voices extracted without care.

A partner who listens first.

I don't come with assumptions. I come with curiosity. Before any strategy, I sit with your story—the told and the untold.

A framework that holds your story with care.

Through the five pillars, every piece of communication is filtered through lenses of authenticity, ethics, and human connection.

Honesty, even when it's uncomfortable.

I won't tell you what you want to hear. I'll tell you what your story needs—and help you get there with integrity.

Work that lasts beyond a campaign.

I build frameworks, not dependencies. Your team gains skills, your organization gains clarity, and your voice becomes unmistakably yours.

Our Process

Every engagement follows four steps.

Not as a checklist, but as a rhythm.

01

Listen

We begin with conversation—not assumptions. I ask questions, listen to what's said and unsaid, and understand the values, challenges, and hopes that shape your work. This phase ends with clarity, not a contract.

1-2 conversations
02

Strategize

Based on what I've heard, I present a tailored proposal: objectives, approach, timeline, and investment. No templates. No pressure. Just a plan built for you.

03

Collaborate

We work side by side. Whether it's training your team, crafting narratives, or building communication systems—I'm in it with you, not directing from a distance.

Varies by scope
04

Reflect

We review what worked, what shifted, and what lasting value was created. Because communication isn't a one-time fix—it's an ongoing practice.

What Happens on a Discovery Call

If you're wondering what the first step looks like:

  • 30 minutes. No pitch. No pressure.
  • I listen to your goals, challenges, and what brought you here.
  • You get a sense of who I am and how I work.
  • If there's alignment, I'll share what a partnership could look like.
  • If not, I'll tell you honestly — and might point you elsewhere.

That's it.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long do engagements typically last? +
It depends on your needs. Some clients start with a single workshop or audit. Others work with me on a monthly retainer for ongoing strategic support. We'll find what fits.
Do you work with clients outside Nairobi? +
Yes. I work virtually with clients across Kenya and beyond. For hospitality brands, on-site training can be arranged.
What's the difference between a Storytelling Audit and a Workshop? +
An Audit is a diagnostic — 1 hour deep dive + 3-page report with recommendations. A Workshop is hands-on training for your team (half-day, on-site or virtual).
How do I know which service is right for me? +
That's what the discovery call is for. We'll explore your needs together and find the right fit.
